(from OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Wellington, September 6. 1 p.m. Tlie consideration of the George Green’s Land Claim Bill lias been postponed till to-day. Mr Macandrew objects to the power given to the claimant to select lands. The Immigration and Public Works Loan Bill passed its second reading yesterday, the ayes being 35 and noes 6, namely, Messrs Richmond, Collins, Brandon, Kynnersley, and J. C, Brown. Messrs Stafford and Hall voted with Ministers. The Railway Guage Bill has passed. The session will last a week yet. The empty cash-box, stolen from the Club, was found in the cemctry. There were uo other traces of the robbery. The Gothenburg has just arrived.
