[from our own correspondent.] Wellington, August 11. In tiic House of Representatives last night, the Otago Road Boards Validation Bill was considered in Committee. There was a grand scrimmage over it —an “ Otago free fight.” Messrs Driver and Graham opposed the Bill, insisting on each clause in the Schedule being read, which would be virtually to defeat it. Mr Macandrew declined to accept any amendment, and withdrew the Bill.
