This Day. (Before T. N. Watt, Esq., E.M., and F, Fulton, Esq., J.P.) DRUNKENNESS. Thomas Howard was fined ss; Jas. Evans, 10s; and Boberb Smith, 20s. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. Martin Brennan, for leaving his cab unprotected in the streets,pvas fined 5s and costs ; John Wilson, for riding across the footpath in Great King street, 5s and costs ; Thomas Smith for neglecting to give the requisite notice under the Building Ordinance, 5s and costs ; and Oliver Lucas, Samuel Shaw, and Charles M‘Queen, far a similar
offence were merely mulcted in costs ; tlie„ having taken out the necessary certificate immediately after being served with the summons.
