SOUTH RECREATION GROUND.

To the Editor of the Evening Star.

Sir, —Can yon inform me who has the control of the South Recreation Ground (is it the City Council or Mr Hendley), whoever it is surely they might clean out the ditch and not lot it be in the state it is; and then the fence again, is it ever to be repaired? The next thing we shall hear of will be, one of the Anderson’s Bay busses going over, and somebody getting killed. Who is to be sued for damages ? Let the people of the South Ward refrain from giving their votes till tiiis is remedied, or else not vote for either of our two members. Yours, &c., Dunedin South.
