(from our own correspondent.) Wellington, June 25. In the House of Representatives yesterday, Mr Brown’s motion for leave to introduce a Bill for the repeal of the Hundreds Regulations Act was opposed by Messrs Vogel, Macaudrew, and Reynolds. Mr Macaudrew has given notice of his intention to introduce a Bill to amend the same Act. Mr Stafford condemned the Act, and advocated a complete revision of the Otago Land Laws, and introducing a .system of free selection. The debate on Mr Brown’s motion was adjourned for a week. Mr Haughton supported Mr Stafford’s views. ;
