The s.s. Rangitoto, Captain H, Mackie, arrived at the Bluff at 1 p.m. on Ist May. She left Melbourne at 2.25 p.m. on the 25th April; experienced strong S.E. gales with heavy head sea until making the Solander at 6.30 on Ist, and from thence to Bluff had strong S. S. E. winds. Left at 4.30 p. m. yesterday, and arrived at Port Chalmers at 7 this morning, having experienced strong S.W, winds during passage.
