This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor, and H, Driver, Esq., J.P,) DRUNKENNESS. Robt. Johnston and David Johnston were each lined 2l)s The last mentioned prisoner was also charged with breaking a number of panes of gla-s in a brothel off’ Walker street. The Bench did not think the evidence conclusive, and dismissed the case. Thos. Davey was charged with being concerned with Johnston in tho alleged windowbreaking. According to his account he went to the rescue of Johnston, who is his mate, and eno of the women smashed a tumbler over him. His face boro marks of much ill-trcatmcnt. He was discharged 'with a caution.
