MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor and Thcs. Dick, Esej., J.P.) DRUNKENNESS. The following lines were inflicted for the offences specified : —James M‘Gregor, drunk and disorderly, 20s or 24 hours’ imprisonment; Henry M‘Donald, drunk and disorderly, 40s or seven days’ imprisonment ; Thomas White, disorderly conduct in a right-of-way, 20s or seven days’ imprisonment. ILLEGALLY ON PREMISES. John O’Donnell was charged on the information of Constable Hanlon, with being illegally on the premises of Mr F. H. Irwin, in Cargill street. From the statement of the constable, it appeared that about half-past two o’clock this morning, he discovered the accused apparently about to enter Mr Irwin’s house through one of the windows, having forced himself halfway through it, when he was arrested. The Bench sentenced him to three months’ imprisonment, with hard labor.
