MAYOR’S COURT.

This Day. (Before T. Birch, Esq., R.M.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. A. Miller, charged with this offence, was dismissed with a caution. Ellen Maitland was fined 10s, or 24 hours' imprisonment. J. Canovan, who was out on bail, was fined LI, or 48 hours’ imprisonment. SLY GROG SELLING, J. Keith was charged with this offence. Mr Ward, who appeared for defendant, objected to the information, and the Commissioner of Police consented to the cases (two) being adjourned until to-morrow. MINOR OFFENCES. J. Allen, for allowing a dangerous stump, the remains of a lamp-post, to remain on a footpath, was fined 5s and coats.
