Auckland Rifle Volunteers. —We take the following from the Southern Cross: We leam that the Dunedin Kifies have sent a challenge through Mr Mulholland, of the Stamp office here, who is authorised to arrange a rifle match between that corps and any of the Auckland companies which may be in a position to accept it. The Auckland men are to arrange the- terms and distances. In all probability No. 1 Company will be in a position to accept the challenge ; if not, it is most likely that the whole battalion will be called upon.
