Stage v. Press. This match was played to-day, and from the first was an easy victory for the Press. The Stage went in first, Bell and Inglis facing the bowling of Cohen and A llan. The former was cleaned by Cohen in his second ball; then followed a slaughter of the innocents, the wickets falling as fast as hail. In one over he took no less than four wickets, Binnie was bowled out magnificently, the ball lifting off both bails. Allen bowled well. Stage. First Innings.
