WORLD WEATHER SERVICE
WASHINGTON, October 27. The Weather Service Department is seeking to induce Canada, New Zealand, Australia, China, and- India, among others, to take over the installations built up by the army during the war at a cost of 40,000,000 dollars, for world weather forecasting purposes. The network of army and air force stations numbers nearly 900 installations. The .transfer of equipment and the training of foreign forecasters have begun.
