PORK BAN STILL ON
Cabinet approval of an increase in the present bacon and ham quotas of all retail shops as from November 1 was announced today by the Minister of Supply (Mr. Sullivan). A further statement on that matter would be made at an early date.
A conference representative of clothing manufacturers throughout New Zealand is to be held in Rotorua next week, opening on Monday. ' The Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr. Sullivan) is to leave Wellington tomorrow to be present at the conference.
