MR. JORDAN LEAVING ON AUGUST 2

(Special P.A. Correspondent.) Rec 9.40 a.m. LONDON, July 26*

The High Commissioner for New;' Zealand in London, Mr. W. J. Jordan, accompanied by Mrs. Jordan, leaves London on August 2 for New Zealand. They will travel via America, and expect to reach the Dominion seven weeks later.

This will be Mr. Jordan's first visit to New Zealand since he was appointed. High Commissioner nine years ago, and his first holiday since the war began. He anticipates being back in London in six months' time. Dr. R. M. Campbell, official secretary, presumably will deputise for him during his absence. '
