DE VALERA'S PILGRIMAGE
LONDON, July 26
Mr. de Valera, Prime Minister of Eire, is making a pilgrimage to Loughderg, County Donegal, as a personal thanksgiving for Eire's preservation from war. Loughderg is held as hallowed by the Irish people after St. Patrick. The pilgrimage customarily consists of three days of fasting and prayer.
