CANBERRA, July 26.
Speeches that "stir -national emotions" may be broadcast from the House of Representatives soon. The Prime Minister, Mr.. Chifiey, told the House that he favoured such broadcasts, but was against the broadcasting of "dry stuff." A request had been made that some of the important speeches might be broadcast, Mr. Chifiey said.1 Broadcasting of the Budget speech, and perhaps even the. reply to it, had been suggested, but that would be pretty dry stuff to try out on the public.
