PROTEST MEETING.
Citizens are invited to attend a protest meeting on the Banl< of Netv Zealand Issue to he held in the Town Hajl. on Wednesday, August 1, at S p.m. The speakers will be Mr. T. N. Gibbs, public 'accountant, of Christchurch; Mr.-15. V. Cooksley, president of the farmers' Federation; and Mr. Lan Matheson, of the Now Zealand Manufacturers' Federation. The Mayor (Mr. -.Appleton) will preside.
