MORE AIR RAIDS

Tokio radio says that American warships bombarded Kanagawa this morning. Two hundred carrier planes atjacked Hokkaido today. Others hit communications and airfields on Honshu.

In a midnight raid nearly 100 SuperFortresses hit three vital oil targets

10 miles south of Tokio. The chief target was the Mitsubishi refinery, the biggest in Japan. , [Kanagawa is immediately north oi Yokohama, in Tokio Bay.]
