SUCCESSFUL ATTACK

COLOMBO, July 24. In the lower Sittang River sector Gurkha troops made a successful attack east of the village of Leeinzu, 26 miles north-east of Pegu. An 80ft schooner blew up when attacked by a Sunderland off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus.
