BOWLING
JOHNSONVILLE CLUB
The report and balance-sheet presented at the thirty-seventh annual meeting of the Johnsonville Bowling Club, over which Mr. M. Steel presided, showed the club to be in a satisfactory position. The past season closed with a membership of 56, the playing members numbering 48. There were prospects of the club having'several new members for the coming year. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. W. Angell; vicepresident, Mr. L. C. Bryant; secretary, Mr. F. Embury; treasurer, Mr. W. R. Richardson; centre delegate, Mr. O. Angell; green superintendent, Mr. F. Jacobs; directors, Messrs. O. Angell, W. Mills, and A. Willetts, and Dr. Wright; honorary auditor, Mr. A. N. Morriss; sole selector, Mr. A. Hogg.
