Yvonne Webb-Jones Marotta, operatic soprano, and Nino Marotta, grand operatic bass baritone, will present a celebrity concert in the Town Hall, Wellington, on September 12. The, Marottas are essentially grand opera singera and have played leading parts in many European and American capitals. Their repertoire includes music from the operas of Verdi, Puccini, Rossini, Moussorgsky, Wagner,, and Handel.. A Sydney critic wrote of the Marottas: "They concluded their excellent programme^ with the duet 'Barcarola'—a composition unremarkable—that, served only to show further the beauty of their voices in concert."
