MANAWATU BEAT WANGANUI

P-A. PAJLMEBSTON N., September 3. Manawatu again beat Wanganui In a return match at Palmerston North this afternoon, the score being 37-3. Manawatu played a very different game from that against Wellington on the previous Saturday, the return of Delamore making a big difference in the .effectiveness of the back line. Always alert, he was a constant source of trouble to the Wanganui backs. Wanganui's form was better than the score would indicate and they played hard till the final whistle. Tries for Manawatu were scored by Morgan. (2), Delamore (2), Taylor (2), Archer, Rush, and Roddick, Wishnowsky converting five. Wanganui's three points came from a penalty goal by Waldren.
