MR. NASH AT ASHBURTON

P.A. ASHBURTON, September 3. The Minister of Finance (Mr. Nash) addressed a public meeting at Ashburton this 'afternoon. The attendance -was about 200. Mr. Nash first spoke of the achievement of New Zealand servicemen and then explained the Land Settlement Act and dealt with housing and social security on familiar lines. A vote of thanks was passed.
