REPORTED ARREST
HIGH ITALIAN OFFICERS
LONDON, September 3,
Marshal Badoglio has arrested Marshal De Bono, whom he replaced in 1935 as Commander-in-Chief in Abyssinia, says the Berne correspondent of the "Daily Express," quoting a report from Milan.
Other reported arrests include Marshal Cavallero, former Italian Chief of Staff, and also General • Galiaeti, former commander of the Fascist militia, who are charged with treason.
Marshal De Bono was previously Mussolini's closest friend. He led the Fascist march on Rome in October, 1922, and also, it is believed, was involved as police chief in the Matteoti murder.
