Te Ropu Club. The Te Ropu Maori Club held a meeting for soldiers' parcels on Friday in Te Tatau O Te. Po, Hutt Road, Lower Hutt, when Mrs., O. M. Shakespeare presided. Mrs. Mat Love read reports of activities. Mr. Johannes Andersen gave an interesting talk on .Buenos Aires. Mrs. Chambers and »Mrs. Jesson gave an amusing sketch and Mrs Conner- sang two original song compositions by Mrs. .. Rosa Knight. , Mrs. D. Dance Recital,
A dance recital; of ballets and divertissement will be presented by the pupils of Miss Jeane Home at the Technical College on Saturday, September 18 The box plan opens at the D.I.C. on September 13.
