An assurance that the winning of the war and with it the peace was Labour's first job, was given by. Mrs. C. S. Stewart, Labour candidate for Wellington West, in the Mission Hall, Aro Street, last night. Mrs. Stewart reaffirmed the Government's pledge to re-establish in civil life all men and women who had given service in the war effort.
