TWO CALLS

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

THE REV. J. S. MURRAY

The Wellington Presbytery at its last meeting sustained a call from the Ashburton Presbyterian Church to the Rev. J.. S. Murray, M.A., of Kelburn. Mr. Murray has been minister of the Kelburn Presbyterian Church for the past six and a half years, and during that time has devoted himself so faithfully to the service of the congregation that its members part with him and Mrs. Murray with great regret. A tribute to Mr. Murray's outstanding ability and his high character was paid by commissioners of the Kelburn congregation, who informed the Presbytery that every part of the congregation's life had benefited by his wise administration, the high standard of his pulpit ministrations, and his everyday life among his people. Mr. Murray will be inducted into the Ashburton charge about the middle of June.
