SYDNEY, May 22

In Hornsby, the last State electorate to complete its count, S. Storey (Independent) defeated the U.A.P. candidate, W. Francis, by thirty votes.

The result makes the strength of the parties in the new House as follows: — Labour. 53; Independent Labour. 1; U.A.P.. 15; U.C.P., 12; Independents, 9. —U.P.A.
