Approval of the following teaching appointments to schools in its district has been given by the Wellington Education Board:—Miss K. M. Turner, sole teacher, Woodbank, from Canterbury; Mr. W. O. Neas, assifetant, Levin, from Eastern Hutt; Miss D. Wilkins, assistant, Mount Cook, from Island Bay; Miss M. Gannaway, assistant, Waterloo, from Boulcott; Miss B. Gunn, assistant, Riverlands, from Auckland; Miss G. Dixon, infant mistress, Pahiatua, from Auckland; Miss K. Creagh, head teacher, Clareville, from Canterbury; Mr. A. S. McKenzie, assistant, Tawa Plat, from Auckland; Miss B. Tail assistant, Eastern Hutt, from Wanganui; Miss J. Glover, assistant, Lyall Bay, from Auckland; Mrs. K. M. March, assistant, Petone West, from the board's relieving staff; Miss F. Collier, infant mistress, Featherston, from Martin-' borough; Miss E. Anker, assistant, Manakau, from the relieving staff; Mr. J. A. Kennedy, assistant, Masterton Central (war appointment); Miss M. McGreevey, assistant. Thorndon special class, from Hawke's Bay.
