NEAR THE CEILING
NAZI PLANES CANNOT GO
MUCH HIGHER
LONDON, October 30,
The "Daily Telegraph" says that high flying by the Germans over Britain has almost reached the limit set by the oxygen supply, and they will be forced to use pressure suits and pressure cabins if they wish to go higher.
R.A.F. pilots have encountered Germans at 37,500 feet—sooo feet under the scientifically determined upper practicable limit for military aviation.
No country, so far as is known, has an appreciable number of planes which can be operated at over 40,000 feet.
