DAIRY FACTORY EMPLOYEES

Although practically a complete settlement was arrived at in conciliation council in the dispute between the New Zealand Dairy Factory and Related Trades Industrial Union of Woi-kers and the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Co., Ltd., and others, the phraseology of the clauses did not meet with approval. The adjourned dispute was continued in conciliation council today before the Commissioner (Mr. M. J. Reardon), with the object of revising the phrasing. The workers were represented by Messrs. J. Ross (Taranaki), J. P. John (Auckland), and C. Gough (Wellington), and the employers by Messrs. W. Marshall (Waikato), G. R. Herron (Southland), and H. J. Bishop (Wellington).
