Chinese technicians are preparing approximately 2000 American lorries i for the reopening of the Burma Road on Friday by a simple ceremony in which Chinese and British officials will participate. WASHINGTON, October 15. The Red Cross is taking advantage of the reopening of the Burma Road to send medicines and other supplies to China. It is also shipping food to Shanghai. '
