APPEAL FOR FLOWER DAY
As a very considerable quantity of flowers is expected to be given for Flower Day, which is to be held on Friday in aid of the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Funds, those of the public who are able to do so are requested to lend foot baths, or similar receptacles, in which the blooms may be kept fresh. These will be collected on Thursday and returned by the Patriotic Committee, if the addresses of the lenders are supplied to the Town Hall.
