Wellington audiences are promised a novelty jn the way of stage productions when they see "Amphitryon 38," which is to be staged at the Concert Chamber tomorrow la five nights' season \ and ' a Saturday matinee) by the Wellington Repertory Theatre. The play opens with Jupiter and Mer-cui-y reclining on a cloud discussing' ways and means of overcoming the resistance of Alkmena, who is faithful to her husband Amphitryon. , Finally Jupiter decides to impersonate Amphitryon and some highly amusing situations develop. The production is in the hands of W. S. Wauchop, who will appear as Jupiter. Mrs. Craig Mackenzie will be Alkmena, and P. C. Benham Amphitryon. Others in the cast are Charles Johnston, Mrs. W. A. Martin, Molly Cook, Mary Sladden, N. V. Wotton, W. F. C.1 Balham, and Gordon Hooper.
