LONDON, October 5. Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows:—
Cotton: Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 8.31 d a lb; November delivery, 7.69 d a lb.
Rubber: Para, 12d a lb; plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 11 7-8 d a lb. Linseed oil: £45 a ton. Turpentine: 55s a cwt.
