THREE INJURED
CAR COLLISION WITH TRAIN

AUCKLAND, October 4.
A collision occurred between a light motor-car and the Hamilton-Cambridge passenger train at the Matangi bridge crossing at 4 o'clock this afternoon and several occupants of. the car were injured. They were:— Mrs. Amy Muriel Bath, aged 23. wife of Mr. William Bath, Matangi; injuries to hip and leg. Condition not serious. Ean Wilfred Bath, aged four; head injuries, fracture of an arm, and injuries to a foot; condition serious. Barbara Robinson, aged two years, daughter of Mr. C. Robinson, Matangi; shock and abrasions. The car. which was being driven by Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson, was thrown into the air and extensively damaged. Mrs. Robinson received a bruised shoulder and suffered from shock, but her condition did not necessitate admission to hospital.
