BOXING TOMORROW.

I At the Wellington Town Hall toi morrow night, Young Gildo, the "Filipino Flash," will meet Clarrie Rayner, of Blenheim, in a lightweight contest over twelve threeminute rounds. These two popular lightweights, who have proved outstanding in their division this season, can be depended upon to provide fast and thrilling boxing in which science will be mingled with hard hitting. Gildo has proved too good foi* Jack Jarvis, the lightweight champion, while, on the results to date, he has been shaded by Rayner, although their last meeting resulted in a draw and showed that Gildo has figured out a way to handle the Blen- | heim boy successfully. In their previous Wellington bouts this year Gildo scored a convincing win against the highly-ranked Johnny Hutchinson, and Rayner put a quick finish to his bout with Jackie Sharpe. Amateur preliminaries will . commence at 8 o'clock.
