SOLDIERS' EDUCATION
FACILITIES DURING WINTER
(British Official Wireless.)
RUGBY, October 2.
The soldiers of the British Army will be given ample opportunity to carry on their education during the coming winter. Not only has the Army Education Corps been expanded, but competent lectures have been collected by the central advisory council for adult education in the forces which works through regional committees formed in every university area.
In addition, local education authorities and professional bodies are placing facilities at the disposal of the forces. Such associations as the Law Society, the Institute of Bankers, and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers are to provide correspondence courses for soldiers.
