HOSPITAL PATIENTS' BENEFIT

A very successful afternoon was held recently at the home of Mrs/Gardiner by the Seatoun branch of the Residential Nursery, when members and guests contributed- a large assortment.of tinned fruits, honey, dates/figs, nuts, sweets, chocolate/ soap, arid much else to be sent to patients at .the Porirua Mental Hospital. Mrs. Gardiner thanked the Seatoun ladies for their generous support and those who worked to make the afternoon successful; also Mr. Barr Vfor his assistance. Afternoon tea and a musical programriie were enjoyed.
