Reports were recently current in Melbourne that all the glass products manufactured, by subsidiaries of the company,were to be advanced in price owing to; contingencies brought about through the war. The company officially described such reports, as incorrect, the only increase in prices being on: window glass, which had been advanced 8 per cent, owing to the increased cost of coal, timber for packing cases, felspar, freight, \ and war risk insurance. /All other products remained at pre-war prices. ■'.'■•
