HITLER'S POLISH PLAN

The report of Mr. Otto D. Tolischus, Berlin correspondent of the "New York Times," that the Poles are being transformed into servants of the German master race confirms previous announcements of what was happening in the conquered areas. Poland, it appears, is the key area in Hitler's scheme to recall Germans abroad. Jews are being dispossessed and their businesses, or their places in the community, are to be taken by the new immigrants, who will bring with them supplies of foreign exchange badly needed by the Reich. The future status of the Jews is uncertain. The creation of a "Jewish State" around Lublin has been reported, denied, and reported a second time, and Jews apparently are being sent to that region even from Bohemia and Moravia, their places in the Protectorate.being taken by Germans evacuated from the Rhineland. Agriculturists among the "home-com-ing" Germans will be settled in Western Poland, industrialists will take over the large concerns previously in Jewish hands, traders will live in the old Corridor. The military occupation of Poland/ will continue until Hitler is satisfied that.order is restored, and according to some pronouncements it will not be until that time that the Nazis will define their future intentions towards the Polish lands.
