COST DURING 1939 ESTIMATE OF £4,000,000,000 WASHINGTON, July 30. According to a computation by the Foreign Office Policy Association, the leading world Powers will spend 20,000,000,000 dollars (over £4,000,000,000) on armaments and defence during 1939.
