When the Maunganui, ivhich returned to Wellington yesterday after a cruise to tlie Pacific Islands, was at Noumea last Monday a party of officers and men, under the commander, Captain G. B. Morgan, D.S.C., tvith about thirty returned soldiers who were among the passengers, marched to the "Monument aux Morts" and laid a wreath.
