(British Official Wireless.) (Received July 29. noon.) ■■■■■.. RUGBY. July 28. The total amount applied for in tenders for £40,000000 of Treasury bills was £73.775.000. The average rate per cent, for bills at three months was 14s 4;08d, as against 14s 8.61 d a week ago.
At the corresponding date a year ago the average rate per cent, for "bills at three months was 10s 1.90 d. Applications for £40.000.000 of Treasury bills totalled £82.390,000.
