MYSTERIOUS ACCIDENT

CARTERTON, July 27.

Eric Fleet, married,' of -Greytown, is in the Greytown Hospital with a gun-shot wound in the left arm. It is not known how it occurred. Fleet went to Woodside with a truck to get firewood, and, the first knowledge of the accident was when he staggered into a house. He was taken to hospital in an ambulance, and could give no information. The truck was found loaded with wood and there was a gun in the cab. Fleet was operated on last night and is progressing favourably. His wife is also in hospital seriously ill. :
