LAST OPPORTUNITY TONIGHT
Wellington people will have their last opportunity tonight of seeing the wonderful exhibition of international handcrafts collected by Miss E. E. Davies, of Geraldine, during her extensive travels abroad and being shown, under the auspices of the Hutt Valley and South Wellington Federation of Women's Institutes, at the Town Hall Concert Chamber.
Next time the kitchen needs new curtains, make them of heavy American cloth (there's a good choice of colours and designs). The light won't shine through-them, they don't need washing (sponge down with a damp cloth) and they are quick to make. Simply glue down the turn-ups for hems and sideedges.
Before using your favourite cleaner on the inside of the cooker, turn the heat on for a few minutes to melt the grease, then sponge with hot soapywater.
