The President of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Beebe, disclosed that Pan-American Airway* is filing an application immediately with the civil aeronautical authorities in Washington to inaugurate a passenger, mail, and freight route between Los Angeles and New Zealand, via the South Sea Islands, namely, HonoluluCanton Island-Noumea-Auckland.
