RUGBY, July 25.
The Exchequer returns show that the total ordinary revenue amounts to £197,953,332, compared with £182,----613,737 a year ago. There is an increase of over £9,000,000 in the Customs yield.
The total expenditure, less selfbalancing items, is £336.269,854, compared with £295,433,524 at the corresponding date in 1938. The total floating debt has outstanding amounts of £1,100,190,000, compared with £909,----375,000 a year1 ago and £920,310,000 on March 31 last.
