EFFECT OF ANNOUNCEMENT

LONDON, July 26.
The effect of Sir John Simon's announcement in the House of Commons yesterday on the Polish negotiations is that Poland will not at present get a cash loan from Britain and France but that £8,000,000 will be provided for an export credit guarantee for the purchase of munitions in Britain.
