34 MEN ON BOARD
(Received July 27, 9 a.m.)
BERLIN, July 26
The "Volkischer Beobachter" reports that a Soviet submarine with 34 men on board sank off Murmansk after a collision. The task of salvaging is difficult because of the depth of the water and rough seas.
The paper adds that Moscow officials assert that they have no news of the disaster.
